Gold Stock - Aurizon Mines (AZK) and more Stock Screen Results

The Basic Materials Sector was well represented among US stocks between $2 and $10 that hit all-time highs last week. Gold miners Aurizon Mines (AZK) and Nevsun Resources (NSU) each continue to make higher-highs and higher-lows and should be well positioned to make big moves higher if gold continues its uptrend. A quick look at growth and fundamentals suggests there might be better opportunities elsewhere.
NSU has an abysmal Piotroski Score and negative EPS growth - but the chart suggests something has been going right, so further investigation is warranted. The best looking stocks for EPS and Sales growth are AEZ and XPO, both of which also have modest institutional buying pressure.
