US All-Time Highs ($2 to $10) - Dec/18/2009

My screen of the US stock markets for low-priced stocks making all-time new highs last week found 5 stocks between $2 and $10. Five all-time highs is more than last week and any week in November. The increase in all-time highs reflects general strength among small caps, and the Russel 2000 small-cap index (IWM) was up 1.7% from Friday-to-Friday, closing at $61.18. It is a good sign to small-caps showing strength, though IWM needs to break above its October highs before I would get too excited. Here are the charts:
