TSX All-Time Highs - week of May/28/2010

The lone all-time high on the TSX last week was SXC, which is no surprise since I talked about it mid-week (here). Also, there weren't any new all-time highs on the TSX Venture exchange. Here are the charts of SXC:

Notice the price peak in 2000 on the long-term chart on the right? This is an example of BigCharts not accounting for a stock split. Other data providers show a different picture. For example, here is a chart from Globe Finance. Note the peak in 2000 is around $15, not $100 as shown in the BigChart above. As I've discussed before (here and here) this is why it's important to use adjusted stock prices and to check data against other sources.
